Full payment must be received before goods will be despatched.
Our shopping cart uses PayPal because it is very safe. However YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO USE IT. YOU JUST ENTER YOUR CARD DETAILS>
When the checkout redirects you to Paypal, it is a secure 'payment gateway' . The on-screen command asks you whether you have a Paypal account or if you'd just like to enter card details. If you don't have a Paypal acoount, you click on that option where you then enter your card details and pay for the goods, without having to sign up to a Paypal account. Although having one is very useful and secure.
RETURNS POLICY
If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your Smarty Lamps purchase, please contact us without delay, in all cases within 14 days of delivery.
In cases where there is no fault on our behalf, you may return the item(s) at your own cost within 7 days, unused and in the original packaging, and we will refund your original bill in full. After 7 days, we will refund the cost of the purchase, minus shipping costs, if items are returned within 30 days. We would strongly recommend that you send back items via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and obtain Proof of Posting.
In the unlikely event that you receive goods that are damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 working days and we will arrange for a replacement or refund. Items returned after 7 days will be refunded minus the cost of shipping. In all cases, please contact us before sending items back.
Smarty Lamps is not responsible for damage incurred due to incorrect installation, for customers misunderstanding instructions, or for damage due to the use of bulbs of a higher wattage than recommended.
On receipt of the returned goods, Smarty Lamps will issue the relevant refund via PayPal. Funds should usually deposited back onto your debit/credit card within 7 days.
